President – – Gary Flowers

Other than the 2 years Gary spent finishing up his degree in Physics at Texas A&M University, he’s lived in Amarillo Texas all of his life. He and his wife Cathy have been married for 56 years and have one son, Damon and three grandchildren. Gary worked at Amarillo’s Pantex Plant as a scientist and manager for almost 38 years before retiring in 2007. The Pantex Plant is the United States only Nuclear Weapons assembly, disassembly, and repair facility. Gary’s hobbies have included scuba diving, snow and water skiing, fishing, gardening, woodworking, and computers. Besides being the President of the PLOA, Gary is also the webmaster for the PLOA’s website and helps people when they have computer related questions and problems.
1st Vice-President – – Larena Torres

Larena and J.R. met and married in Fort Worth, Texas in 1995 and have one son, Andrew. Raised near Stratford, Oklahoma, Larena graduated in 1992 from East Central University with a Bachelors degree in Legal Studies. Most of her career, she has worked in human resources. Her current position consists of handling grievances and conducting mediations for a Federal agency.
Larena and J.R. purchased their Pendaries lot in the fall of 2019 after many years of camping in the rental area. Larena has served on two prior neighborhood association boards. She loves singing, playing piano, organizing events to bring people together and playing pickleball. Her most recent hobby/obsession is acrylic painting.
2nd Vice-President – – Robert Wright

Robert was born in Cheyenne, Oklahoma, later moving to Amarillo where he has lived since. Robert retired in 2016 from the Pantex Nuclear Weapons Plant. He met Michele in high school and they have been together for 51 years. They have three children and six “fabulous” grandchildren. They have been Lot Owners at Pendaries since 2011. Robert’s hobbies include fishing, wood working, traveling, and playing games.
Secretary – – Debbie Ervin

Debbie was born in Wellington, Texas, then moved during her 3rd grade school year to Tulia, Texas. She and her first husband were married for 37 years and lived most of those years in Haskell Texas. They have 3 children, Shawn, Laura, Amy, and spouses. They were blessed with 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Debbie moved to Amarillo in 2010 and married her 2nd husband, Fred Ervin, in 2012. The family grew with Fred’s 3 children, Becky, Ken, Carl and spouses, 5 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.
Debbie started working with the USDA FmHA as an Office Clerk in Haskell before changing careers and going into banking. She became a bank officer and Internal Auditor with Haskell National Bank. Debbie attended McMurry University, Abilene Christian University, and Texas Tech University.
Debbie and Fred purchased their property in the Park in 2020 after camping in the Park several times. Debbie enjoys riding her Harley Tri-Glide, reading, fishing (if someone will bait the hook and remove the fish), dancing, flea market, landscaping, and their 2 Morkies.
Treasurer – – Vicki Hicks

Vicki has been married to her husband, Johnny, for 51 years. They have lived in several different places throughout their married life. They have one son, Byron, who is married. Vicki went back to college and received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting when her son was in Junior High. She passed the CPA exam soon after. Her entire career was spent in accounting. Now they are living out their dream of living in the mountains.
